The Network for Innovative Methods in Longitudinal Aging Studies (NIMLAS)
NIMLAS is a research network of internationally-renowned methodological and substantive experts who are actively researching the benefits of new data collection methodologies for longitudinal studies of aging in response to recent societal developments. NIMLAS will provide:
- Pilot Projects awarded each year - three grants for up to $50,000 in direct costs each to support methodology that will contribute to one of the four major research themes of NIMLAS
- Working groups dedicated to regular discussions of new research in thematic areas
- Free workshops - “Applying Weights to Longitudinal Survey Data” in September 2022
- Free methodological consulting service - If you are currently working on the design or analysis of a longitudinal survey, you may benefit from this service!
NIMLAS is open to welcoming new members interested in new methodology for longitudinal studies of aging. Interested researchers can fill out the application form here.
