-
The first portion of a variable name corresponds to its section and number in the questionnaire. Many variable names repeat across the multiple waves of data. The second part of the variable name contains the month designation (i.e. _6MO, _18MO, _36MO).

Study participants were recruited from low-income clinics, obstetrician's offices, ultrasound centers, health fairs, and hospital intranet postings. Enrollment criteria sought pregnant women who were between the ages of 18 to 35, English or Spanish speaking, and planning to delivery their baby at a hospital in Pennsylvania. Prospective participants were ineligible to enroll in the study if they planned to delivery the baby at home or a birthing center not associated with a hospital, delivery of baby was prior to 35 weeks gestation, a surrogate pregnancy, or planning for the baby to be adopted. Women were recruited beginning in January 2009 through those who delivered a baby in April 2011. These women were then followed-up with 7 more times.
