Application Submission Schedule

On April 24, 2025, NIH requested that the following language be added to this website: “**UPDATE TO THE PATH STUDY BIOSPECIMEN ACCESS PROGRAM (BAP): As of 4/24/2025, the BAP will be on hiatus and will not accept any new concept statements or applications. We appreciate your interest in the BAP and will provide any updates here.**”

Investigators are invited to submit concept statements and applications for review two times per year. There is a one-month window during the review cycle when the PATH Study team will accept concept statements. A concept statement decision notification can be expected approximately three months after submission. An approved concept statement is required before submitting an application. The submission window for applications follows the concept statement decision notification and has a two-month time period. Applications will be reviewed, and decision notifications sent no later than three months after the deadline. Please see the table below for specific deadlines.
