NACJD Staff

A.J. Million

Director, Research Investigator

A.J. Million is the Director of the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data and a Research Investigator at ICPSR. He has a Ph.D. in Information Science and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri. A.J.'s research examines topics such as public-sector information technology use, scholarly communication, knowledge infrastructures, research data management, and libraries. Before joining ICPSR, A.J. was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Information at the University of Michigan and a Librarian for the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Justin Noble

Senior Data Project Manager

Justin Noble manages the data archiving services for the Bureau of Justice Statistics project at NACJD. Justin has a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University and has worked at ICPSR since 2007.

Becky Chu

Data Project Manager

Becky Chu manages the data archiving services for the NIJ and OJJDP projects at NACJD, and reviews restricted data output requests from virtual and physical data enclave users. Becky has a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany, SUNY and has worked with NACJD since 2020.

Alexandra Toma

Data Project Manager

Alexandra Toma manages restricted data applications, data use agreements, and user support inquiries across the BJS, NIJ, and OJJDP projects. Alexandra has a Bachelor's Degree in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and has worked with NACJD since 2019.

Annahita Akbarifard

Data Project Assistant

Anna Akbarifard assists with user support inquiries and restricted data access requests, and reviews NIJ data deposits in preparation for curation. Anna has a Psychology degree with a minor in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and has worked with ICPSR since 2019.

Meg Jerrild

Data Project Assistant

Meg Jerrild assists with restricted data access requests, NIJ data deposit reviews, and user support inquiries. Meg has a Psychology degree with minors in Sociology and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Connecticut, and has worked with ICPSR since 2021.
