Exploring AI's Role in Metadata: Jenny Li's Insightful Presentation at Open Repositories 2025
At the Open Repositories 2025 conference (June 15-18, 2025, in Chicago), Jenny Li from ICPSR delivered an engaging presentation titled “AI as a Responsible Partner in FAIR Metadata Creation: Lessons Learned.” As part of the Lightning (24x7) Presentations track, she discussed the innovative use of AI in metadata creation through the TurboCurator tool, an integral part of the RDE project. Her presentation highlighted the tool's collaboration with Harvard Dataverse and offered key insights into the lessons learned from using AI to enhance FAIR metadata practices.
