CBII FAQs | What’s required to complete an application for access to CBII Data?
To request access to CBII data, researchers must complete an online Virtual Data Enclave (VDE) application and provide the following information:
- Principal Investigator information
- Abstract
- Research Description (In 700 words or less)
- The research questions, problems, or issues your research will address
- A description of the data you plan to use in your research
- IMPORTANT: You must provide an explanation about how the research will contribute to improving educational instruction
- Restricted Data Use Agreement (RDUA) signed by both the investigator and a legal representative of the investigator’s institution, which specifies the terms of use of the restricted data.
- IRB determination
Once your application is approved by ICPSR, you will receive a notification inviting you to request user accounts, and purchase and assign VDE user licenses for your team.
