College and Beyond II (CBII) Course Content Data, [United States], 2000-2021
The College and Beyond II (CBII) Course Content Study contains course-level information about the curricular content of courses taken by students in the CBII Administrative Data course file. This information includes the Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) code associated with each subject, a College Course Map (CCM) code derived from the course's catalog title and subject code, and - at four postsecondary systems - the course description associated with each course. The Course Content Study can be linked with student-level course data using the ID_COURSE and COURSE_CATALOG_TITLE variables.

College and Beyond II (CBII) Enrollment and Awards Data, [United States], 1958-2022
The College and Beyond II (CBII) Enrollment and Award Study contains student-level National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) data provided by postsecondary systems. The data are intended to cover the time periods before and after students' undergraduate attendance dates at the CBII institutions, making them ideal for examining such phenomena as transfer behavior and post-baccalaureate educational attainment. There are three files for each system that provided data: an enrollment file (all terms of enrollment across all institutions that report to the NSC), an awards file (all degrees and other awards earned across all institutions that report to the NSC), and a derived file. The derived file was created by the CBII team from the enrollment and award data as a convenience for users. It includes summary student-level measures such as 'highest credential earned' and indicators for whether students ever earned specific types of awards or had specific types of enrollment patterns. The Enrollment and Awards data can be linked to other student-level data in the CBII series using the ID_PERSON variable.

College and Beyond II (CBII) Advanced Placement Data, [United States], 2000-2019
The College and Beyond II (CBII) Advanced Placement Data contains Advanced Placement (AP) student test and course credit records from four postsecondary systems that participated in the CBII study. Records are recorded at the student-test level and cover the time period from approximately 2000 to 2019. Variables include AP test name, AP test score, an indicator of whether the student received credit for the test, and the name of the college course to which the credit best maps. Not all variables are available for all systems. The AP data can be linked to other student-level data in the CBII series using the id_person identifier.
