The AI and (Structured) Data Expedition - What ICPSR has Learned
Time: 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm ET
Location: Michigan League - Koessler Room (3rd floor)

It seems that new uses for AI, including in social research, are popping up every time we turn around. But what does it all mean? How and where does AI fit into the research process, and what are the implications for secondary analysis? Maybe you have similar questions but haven’t had time to explore things further. We’ve taken the journey and have some thoughts and suggestions of things to think about when working with students or faculty bitten by the AI bug. This session is not about concrete answers, but about getting boots dirty hiking the AI trail and learning from each other.
