MIDUS: Midlife in the United States

MIDUS is a U.S. national, longitudinal collection which focuses on the role of psychological, social, and biological factors in accounting for age-related variations in health and well-being among two national samples of Americans. MIDUS is funded by NIA and carried out by the University of Wisconsin Institute on Aging, and is comprised of mostly public-use data available for direct download. Some of the studies in the MIDUS series contain materials that are restricted-use only. Users will need to apply for access to the restricted data by completing the use agreements for each study. Completed use agreements with scanned original signatures should be sent to icpsr-nacda@umich.edu .
