New Data Alert: Art Museum Staff Demographic Survey, 2015, 2018

The National Archive of Data on Arts and Culture (NADAC), a data repository funded by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), is pleased to announce the release of the data from the 2015 and 2018 cycles of the Art Museum Staff Demographic Survey. The data are freely available for download and online analysis on the NADAC website.

The Art Museum Staff Demographic Survey was conducted on behalf of the Mellon Foundation, in partnership with the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and the Association of Art Museum Directors (AAMD). The goal of the survey was to study the diversity of staff within art museums in the U.S. The survey collected demographic and employment data for over 30,000 museum employees.
