Respondents were asked for their opinions regarding the trial's verdict, the guilt or innocence of Simpson, whether justice was served in the case, and the treatment of minorities in the criminal justice system. Those queried were asked to comment on how the trial's verdict had affected race relations in the United States and the respondents' confidence in the justice system.
