This study contains economic and demographic data tabulations on persons in households in the United States in 1970. These data record selected Fifth Count population and housing characteristics for all of the 38,529 governmental units eligible for the Revenue Sharing Program in Entitlement Period #1. In addition, the file also contains information on the funds returned to the local governments. Data are provided on aggregate income, distribution of the population by race, age, and sex, relationship, school enrollment, and employment. Data are also provided on housing units and distribution of households by family type, family income, poverty status, and gross rent.
