Focus on Fathers (FOF) Series
Funded by the Administration for Children and Families, Focus on Fathers (FOF) aims to strengthen positive father-child engagement, foster healthy relationships, and improve employment and economic opportunities for fathers and father-figures. The goal of these evaluations were to monitor program fidelity and better understand the outcomes of FOF participants to inform program improvements. Evidence from this series suggests that participating in FOF is associated with significant improvements in outcomes like fathers’ social support and mental health. Data assessed change in relationship skills, parenting skills, economic stability, mental health, criminal history, and substance use.
