New name, new website, same data! NAHDAP is now the “National Addiction and Health Data Archive Program”!
By ICPSR Staff
You may notice something unexpected when you visit our new website for the first time: Our archive name has changed to the National Addiction and Health Data Archive Program! Since our archive began in 2013, we’ve prioritized acquiring data on substance use and HIV infection. That has not changed. However, over the last several years, as research on substance use has developed, the scope of health-related data we’ve received has broadened, and we wanted our name to reflect that reality. While data we archive have a substance use component, we welcome data that demonstrate the relationships between substance use and health broadly defined. Data on substance use and HIV are still welcome here, as are data relating substance use to other health topics. We hope you’ll continue to contribute data to the archive and use NAHDAP data to answer your important research questions.
