Exploring ICPSR Data using GIS
This brief guide to mapping ICPSR data in R Studio was prepared as part of Aditya Ranganath’s ICPSR Visiting Representative Fellowship in the summer and fall of 2021. It can be used as a lesson plan for instructors, as well as a tool for self-study.
About the Project
Many ICPSR datasets could be explored in the context of a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis. This resource includes a tutorial and practice exercises that will introduce data users (including students) to GIS analysis. It can be used as a lesson plan for instructors, as well as a tool for self-study.
