Topical Workshops

From May through August, the ICPSR Summer Program offers more than 40 Topical Workshops. Our Topical Workshops feature instruction in a specific statistical technique or research method over the period of a week or two, with either 20 or 40 classroom contact hours. We offer Topical Workshops in a range of subjects, including machine learning, mixed methods, causal inference, multilevel modeling, regression analysis, and more.

For online-only workshops, you can participate synchronously via Zoom or watch lecture recordings asynchronously at your convenience. We also offer several in-person Topical Workshops for those subjects that rely on in-person learning and collaboration. In all our Topical Workshops, you’ll have extended access to lecture recordings and workshop materials through December 31.
