What is your ICPSR Job Title?
Senior Data Project Manager
What is a favorite memory or instance you have working at ICPSR? What makes ICPSR a great place to work?
I once exhibited at a conference hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. The person sitting at the booth next to mine worked where a fellow PuMUS used to work. You can’t go too far without experiencing the ICPSR/ISR connection!
Where are you from?
I grew up in Belize, Central America but have lived in Evanston, IL the majority of my life.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I really enjoy meeting prospective data depositors at conferences and on outreach calls for the Acquisitions team. I get to learn about leading research happening in the social sciences, and they get to learn all about what we do here at ICPSR. Many thank us for even existing. It reminds me of how far-reaching our mission is.
How long have you worked here?
3.5 years
What do you do when not at work?
Lately, I’ve been ice-skating at my local rink. In the summer, I like exploring new trails with my dog.
What have you read/viewed/listened to/etc. recently?
Society of Snow. Such an incredibly chilling, true story!
What might surprise us about you?
I sang in an acapella group during my undergrad at Syracuse University.
