Baby FACES 2022: Accessing and Using Data from Early Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey

The Early Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey (Baby FACES) is a nationally representative descriptive study of Early Head Start. Using a cross-sectional design, the third cohort of Baby FACES was fielded in the spring of 2022 and focuses on the classroom and home visit processes that support responsive relationships, including teacher-child relationships, staff-parent relationships, and parent-child relationships. This study addresses the overarching research question: How do Early Head Start services support infant/toddler growth and development in the context of nurturing, responsive relationships?

The webinar will provide researchers and analysts with:
• An overview of Baby FACES 2022;
• Information on data collection and measures;
• Information on the Baby FACES 2022 data files and data user resources;
• Considerations when using the Baby FACES 2022 data;
• Information on accessing the data
