How do I update my data after deposit? Can I correct information that appears on the study page?

If you’ve previously deposited data with ICPSR, we encourage you to submit updates or additions that improve future analysis. This includes adding new data waves, additional documentation or syntax files, and corrections or errata notes. If your previous deposit has been released, submit updates through a new deposit form. Indicate that it’s related to an existing ICPSR collection and provide the study number in the comment box. For unreleased data updates, reopen your previous deposit workspace to make any updates.

If you need to update the study-level information on your study home page (without changing any files), you don’t need to submit a new deposit. Just email your requested changes to [email protected], and our staff can update it for you.
