Winners of the 2025 Data Communication Scholarship, which rewards students for their exploration and promotion of research data archived at ICPSR:
- Zoë Bussewitz (Mass Communication and Political Science), of Stony Brook University earned First Place with a video submission titled “Every Step You Take.” The video explores data from “Perceptions of Trust and Procedural Justice as Sources of Receptivity and Resistance to Video Surveillance, United States and Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, 2017-2018 (ICPSR 37341).”
- Luke Claudy, (Cyber Security) of Marymount University, earned Second Place with a video submission titled “The impact of Tutoring with the Lightning Squad technology on improving child literacy rates.” The video explores data from “Tutoring with the Lightning Squad: Evaluating the Efficacy of Computer-Assisted Tutoring with Cooperative Learning for Struggling Readers, United States, 2021-2022 (ICPSR 38814).”
