Students: Gain Money, Knowledge, and Recognition Showcasing Your Data Skills!

ANN ARBOR–We are looking forward to all of the entries coming in from students at ICPSR member institutions who are creatively showcasing the power of social science data! Data explorers’ dynamic three-minute videos are highlighting ICPSR data, with a chance to earn $1,000, plus knowledge and recognition!

Next steps:

• Pick a Topic: Explore the ICPSR catalog and find a study that sparks your interest.
• Create a Video: Produce a three-minute video about your chosen study, emphasizing its features, significance, and potential uses.
• Check Eligibility: Make sure your study is part of ICPSR’s “members-only” curated collection, and confirm your school is an ICPSR member.
• Submit Your Entry: Complete the entry form and submit your video link by Feb. 23, 2026 (midnight ET).
• Spread the Word: Use our ready-made blog post template, email template, and social media posts to promote the scholarship across your campus and networks.
• Need Inspiration? Watch an example video for creative ideas.

Prizes:
$1,000 for first place, $750 for second place, plus recognition on campus and beyond.
