Application Due Date to the PATH Study Data User Workshop has been Extended

The Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Study Data User Workshop: BioPATH Study logomarker Restricted-Use Files workshop will be held at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) in Ann Arbor, Michigan, August 13-14, 2018. The workshop will introduce participants to the PATH Study, focusing on the study design, data collection procedures, adult instrument, and variables. With this information, participants will be able to formulate research questions appropriate for the PATH Study biomarker data. In addition, participants will gain a thorough understanding of the content and organization of the biomarker data files, interview data files, and weighting files. Participants will also gain knowledge and hands-on experience in linking biomarker data files with interview data files and weighting files, as well as in working with the data and understanding the weighted results. To get the most out of the workshop, attendees should plan to attend for the full day on both days. Admission is competitive. Application deadline has been extended to Friday, May 25, 2018. The PATH Study data user workshop classes are 9 am to 5 pm on Monday and Tuesday. Workshop registration will take place from 8:30 AM to 9AM on Monday (Day 1 of the Workshop). This workshop does not have a tuition fee. NAHDAP is a topical archive in the ICPSR and is sponsored by the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
