Job opportunity: Direct the Resource Center for Minority Data at ICPSR
ICPSR is recruiting a senior social scientist to direct the Resource Center for Minority Data. We seek an experienced researcher, who will broaden the scope of research on minority-related issues.
The Director of Resource Center for Minority Data (RCMD) guides ICPSR’s efforts to provide data resources for the analysis of issues affecting racial and ethnic minority populations in the United States. Recently, the RCMD has expanded its scope to include the study of sexual and sexuality minorities. The Director engages researchers, data producers, and research sponsors to extend and promote RCMD data holdings and raise the quality and awareness of data on underrepresented populations. RCMD also develops materials, tools, and training to enhance and expedite the analysis of these data. The holder of this position is also expected to conduct independent research in the field.
