New Data Alert: 2021 Profile of Arts Incubators
The National Archive of Data on Arts and Culture (NADAC), a data repository funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, is pleased to announce the release of the 2021 Profile of Arts Incubators. The data are freely available for download on the NADAC website.
Arts incubators are programs and facilities that nurture small and emerging arts and culture organizations and individual artists by delivering training, mentorship, and support for creative innovation.
The 2021 Profile of Arts Incubators survey was fielded by the Arts Incubation Lab (AIR Lab) – a National Endowment for the Arts Research Lab at the University of Texas at San Antonio – and Americans for the Arts in fall 2021. The survey included information about the participating art incubators’ programs, financials, and operating procedures. It also focused on the program delivery implications for arts incubators in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as issues of access and equity.
