Both individuals are Caucasian, with the one on the left a medium-length blonde in a mustard short-sleeve shirt and a braid in their hair. The one on the right is a medium-length brunette with part of their hair pulled back by a small butterfly clip wearing a brown and black flannel shirt. The gender of the individuals is not readily determinable.

There are new updates to Generations: A Study of the Life and Health of LGB People in a Changing Society, United States, 2016-2019. These include minor changes to waves 1 and 2 as well as the addition of wave 3 to the merged datasets. A new variables crosswalk covers waves 1-3 and the merged dataset.

The Generations study was conducted over a five-year period to examine health and well-being across three generations of lesbians, gay men, and bisexuals (LGB). The study explored identity, stress, health outcomes, and health care and services utilization among LGBs in three generations of adults who came of age during different historical contexts. This collection includes public- and restricted-use files for the three waves of data collected and a merged dataset of all three waves.
