Webinar Save the Date! College and Beyond II: A New Data Resource for Studying Higher Education
Join us on January 26 at 1:00 pm (ET) for a webinar that will introduce participants to College and Beyond II (CBII), an innovative new data series for studying higher education. This webinar is free and open to the public. Webinar participants will learn about available CBII studies, how CBII data can be used to measure important constructs, and how to apply for data access. Researchers from the University of Michigan team that developed the CBII data will be on hand during the webinar to answer questions. We will conclude with information about how to apply to attend a free ICPSR Summer Program course that will provide hands-on training with the CBII data. The course will be held in June 2023 in Ann Arbor, MI.
About CBII
College and Beyond II (CBII) is a new data resource for studying the impact and outcomes of higher education. The richness and scale of CBII makes it unique among currently available higher education data. The series contains administrative data on more than 1 million bachelor’s-seeking undergraduates enrolled from 2000-2021 at 19 public U.S. institutions. These data are linked to qualitative data on course content, alumni survey data on long-term life outcomes, National Student Clearinghouse data on educational attainment, and more. With support from the Mellon Foundation, CBII data are made available to researchers via a restricted virtual data enclave at ICPSR.
