Data from New Family Structures Study available to ICPSR members
Data from the New Family Structures Study, a study of Americans aged 18-39 who were raised in different types of family arrangements, is now available to ICPSR members.
The sample included respondents that had lived in biologically intact household, lived with cohabitating parents, adoptive, step, or single parents, with parents who had same-sex relationships, or with parents who remarried after divorce. Respondents were asked about a range of topics, including social behaviors, health behaviors, and relationships.
More information on the study can be found at its Web site. The Principal Investigator is Mark Regnerus of the University of Texas.
The data can only be accessed by individuals at member institutions. A list of ICPSR members can be found here. Users at member institutions must sign in using an ICPSR MyData account or their Google or Facebook accounts.
