First "Life Of A Dataset" webinar available for viewing; room still available for next two
Video and slides are now available of the first of three webinars on the "Life Of A Dataset," a detailed description of what happens to a dataset when it comes to ICPSR -- from deposit to processing to dissemination -- and space is still open to view the next two live.
The first session focused on the process of depositing data and was presented by Sue Hodge, Instructional Resources, and Piper Simmons, Acquisitions.
The next webinar is titled "The Process of Processing," and will outline the way data are reviewed, cleaned, archived, and prepared for dissemination. It will take place Wednesday, January 23 at 1 p.m. EST. To register, visit https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/776530618/.
The final presentation is called "Discovery and Dissemination," and will address study descriptions, metadata, codebooks, and the final steps in releasing data for distribution.
