Thomson Reuters webinar to feature ICPSR
A webinar titled "Completing the Circle: Perspectives on Integrating Datasets in Basic Research and Discovery," conducted by Thomson Reuters and scheduled for 11 a.m. EST January 31, will include ICPSR's Assistant Director Mary Vardigan.
Vardigan will be joined by Michael Diepenbroek of the PANGAEA archive in Germany; John Kunze, associate director of the University of California Curation Center; and Nigel Robinson, director of York operations for Thomson Reuters.
The session will address the challenges and solutions to promoting datasets and digital scholarship at different institutions, and will review how various stakeholders view the Data Citation Index from Thomson Reuters.
The webinar is open to researchers, librarians, funders, data repository administrators, and others in the community. Registration is required.
