ICPSR to Change Its Name
Maintaining the tradition of undergoing a name change every 46 years, ICPSR changes its name to better reflect its membership and data holdings. Going forward, the nearly 60-year-old Consortium will be known as the Inter-university and Other Organizations Consortium for Political, Dance, Minority, Health, Aging, Demographic, Census, Arts, Disability, Child, Firearm, Flint, EEG, and Social Research (IOOCPDMHADCADCFFEEGSR).
After months of planning, discussions, design proposals, testing with user focus groups, and tweaking, here is the new logo, unveiled at last:
