Teen-Family Sexuality Communication Data Now Available
DSDR is excited to announce the release of Teen-Family Sexuality Communication, 6 United States urban schools, 2017-2018 (ICPSR 37918).
The Teen-Family Sexuality Communication project is a cross-sectional study investigating family sexuality communication with teens. Administered online to 11th and 12th graders at six urban schools across the United States, the survey explored direct and indirect communications with household members, including ease of those communications, as well as family attitudes about sex. A total of 952 surveys were collected.
Variables in the data file include information on the parental figure relationship, members of the household, communication patterns with household members, attitudes towards sex of individuals, the closeness and comfort in relationships with household members, and household demographics.
