ICPSR Seeks Director of Computer and Network Services

The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) is recruiting a Director of Computer and Network Services (CNS). The holder of this position will lead the information and technology efforts of an internationally prominent institution as it provides state-of-the-art services to a growing user community of social science researchers, students, instructors, and policy makers. ICPSR utilizes a high-performance data and information delivery system.

Computer and Network Services is responsible for all technology operations and engineering at ICPSR. The position is very comparable to a CIO/CTO role for a small-to-medium, not-for-profit company. This position sets the strategic technology agenda for ICPSR; supervises professional IT line managers within the CNS unit; participates as an essential member of the ICPSR executive management team; and reports to the executive director.
