Project TIER to Host Workshop on Replication of Research
Project TIER (Teaching Integrity in Empirical Research) will host a two-day workshop on replicability of student research. It is aimed at instructors of statistical methods courses in any of the social sciences.
Attendees will learn how to assemble documentation for a variety of projects, starting with a very simple case and then addressing a variety of challenges that commonly arise. Broader conceptual and pedagogical issues related to documentation and replicability of empirical research will be discussed. Tools to assist in data management will be demonstrated.
Date: March 7-8, 2014
Location: Haverford College (PA).
