ICPSR Welcomes A.J. Million as National Archive of Criminal Justice Data Director

ICPSR is happy to announce that A.J. Million has joined the organization as the Director of the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD). Million took over as NACJD’s director in September 2019.

Dr. Million has a PhD in Information and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri. His research focuses on how (and why) public-sector organizations use information technologies, among other topics, some of which include: scholarly communication, research data management, and public administration. Prior to joining ICPSR, Dr. Million was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan’s School of Information and a Research Librarian for the Missouri Department of Transportation. He is looking forward to working closely with the criminal justice community in his role at NACJD.

NACJD’s previous director, Jukka Savolainen, has assumed a faculty position in Criminology and Sociology at Wayne State University.  ICPSR and NACJD wish him the best in this position and thank him for his service to the archive.
