What: Introducing LinkageLibrary Workshop
When: April 10, 2019, 2 pm to 5 pm
Where: JW Marriot, Austin, TX Room 203
Are you attending the 2019 PAA conference in Austin, TX? Do you work on record linkage? Are you interested to work on record linkage? Please join us for a 3 hour workshop on record linkage and the new linkage repository LinkageLibrary. The workshop is on April 10 from 2-5pm at JW Marriot in Austin, TX. We'll be done in time for the Welcome Reception.
There is no registration fee, but please RSVP via email to Susan Leonard so we know who is coming. Space is limited, so let us know as soon as possible.
All participants will have a chance to share their experience with record linkage and meet others in the field for potential collaboration.
Goals for LinkageLibrary:
- Accelerate development of new record linkage and evaluation methods, and use on real data
- Improve reproducibility of analyses
- Develop critical collaborations between researchers, users, and data custodians
- Help close the gap between research and practice
- Train the next generation of multi-disciplinary data scientists who can lead the field.
- Build cross-disciplinary community around data linkage
Goals for workshop:
- Introduce LinkageLibrary
- Share all our experiences with record linkage
- Meet others in the field for potential collaboration
- Give use expert advice/feedback about LinkageLibrary and how we can help to move the field forward
