Biography

Justin H. Gross is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science and the new M.S. Program in Data Analytics and Computational Social Science at UMass Amherst. He earned a Ph.D. jointly in Statistics and in Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University (2010) as well as a Master's in Mathematics from Salem State College (2004). His research and teaching interests include media and politics, political ideologies, network analysis, text analysis, latent class analysis, and Bayesian methods.
