Biography

Daniel Stegmueller is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science at Duke University. His research interests lie at the intersection of political economy and political behavior. He studies the role of inequality in politics, focusing on preferences towards the welfare state and biased political representation. Methodologically he is interested in models for dynamic panel data, hierarchical models, measurement models, and Bayesian Nonparametrics.
