John Poe

John Poe is currently a Postdoctoral Research Scholar and a research methodologist for the Center for Public Health Services and Systems Research in the College of Public Health at the University of Kentucky. He earned a PhD in Political Science at the University of Kentucky in 2017. Methodologically, he works on problems dealing with clustered, multilevel, and longitudinal data structures. His methodological training is mostly multidisciplinary with a strong foundation in econometrics, psychometrics, and statistics. His primary teaching and research interests are on subjects relating to multilevel and longitudinal modeling, panel data econometrics, semi and non-parametric modeling, and Bayesian inference. Prior to teaching in the Summer Program he was a Teaching Assistant for the "Multilevel Models I: Introduction and Application" course for two years and a Program participant before that.
