Ryan Kennedy

Ryan Kennedy (PhD, 2008, Ohio State University) is an associate professor of political science at the University of Houston, a research associate for the Hobby Center for Public Policy, associate director for analytics for the Initiative for Sustainable Energy Policy, and founding director of UH’s Center for International and Comparative Studies. His research in computational social science has been published three times in Science, as well as the American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, among others. This work has involved a range of methods, including methods for collecting and scraping data online, automated text analysis, machine learning, and a variety of other tools.
