Jake Bowers

Jake Bowers is Associate Professor of Political Science and Statistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received a B.A. from Yale University and an M. A. and Ph.D. from the University of California- Berkeley (http://jakebowers.org). Since 2015 he has worked as a Fellow with the Office of Evaluation Sciences (http://oes.gsa.gov) , the behavioral insights unit of the U.S. Federal Government. Professor Bowers' research interests include political behavior (especially political participation) and quantitative methodology (especially randomized experiments, observational causal inference strategies and computational statistics).
