Katy Edwards is a Senior Research Associate at Westat, where she serves as a tobacco research expert for multiple tobacco-related projects. An experienced research scientist, she has expertise in research design and data analysis. With her background in behavioral and clinical pharmacology, Dr. Edwards is Westat’s scientific lead for the biomarker data obtained in the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Study. In this role, she supports the quality and utility of the biomarker data for researchers. She also provides analytic support and advice to academic and government partners, including collaborators from FDA, NIH, and CDC, on a variety of tobacco-related topics employing behavioral and biochemical data.
