Karl Ho, Ph.D. University of North Texas, is Clinical Associate Professor of Public Policy and Political Economy, Clinical Associate Professor of Political Science, and Director of Academic Computing at School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences, University of Texas at Dallas. He is also founding faculty of the school's new Social Data Analytics and Research (SDAR) program. He has published on elections in East Asia, global women's rights and political research and technological advances. He is the co-investigator of the Hong Kong Election Study (HKES) funded by the Hong Kong University Grants Committee and a member of Electoral Studies editorial board. His works have appeared in Electoral Studies, Human Rights Quarterly, Journal of African and Asian Studies and Journal of Information Technology and Politics. He teaches research methods, statistical programming and is developing new courses on 'Methods of Data Collection and Production' and 'Knowledge Mining'.
