In this special topic poll, respondents were asked how much they knew about President Bill Clinton's investment in the Whitewater real estate venture and whether they approved or disapproved of the way Clinton was handling the Whitewater situation. Those queried were asked whether Whitewater was a serious matter and whether their opinion of Clinton had been affected by it. They were also asked to speculate on both Bill and Hillary Clinton's roles in the Whitewater venture and whether their actions were illegal. Demographic background variables include political orientation and sex.
