MedRIC (Medicare and Medcaid Research Information Center) is a data system that facilitates the linkage of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) data and data from the Health and Retirement Study (HRS). MedRIC contains information found in Medicare Claims data that can be linked with longitudinal data from the Health and Retirement Survey once the user has in place appropriate approvals.
