The following are updates from SAMHDA:

(1) New releases

The Cost Study for the Alcohol and Drug Services Study (ADSS) has been
released. The Cost Study involved a computerized desktop audit to conduct
consistency and accuracy checks on selected questionnaire data from ADSS
Phases I and II. Variables were subsequently updated to represent the most
accurate data available. Additional analysis variables were then created
using combinations of the revised Phase I and II data. Access all ADSS
files from: http://webapp.icpsr.umich.edu/cocoon/SAMHDA-DISPLAY/03088.xml.

(2) Upcoming releases

2002 Treatment Episode Data Set (TEDS).

Additional datasets for the DATOS Adult and Adolescent Studies, including
6-month in-treatment and urinalysis file for both studies, time in
treatment and interview availability indicators for the adult study, and
the measures dataset (DSM diagnoses) for the adolescent study.

Updates to the 2000 and 2002 N-SSATS that include county FIPS codes.
