The following are updates from SAMHDA:
(1) The Drug Abuse Treatment Outcome Study - Adolescent (DATOS-A) has been
added to the online data analysis system (DAS) at:
http://webapp.icpsr.umich.edu/cocoon/SAMHDA-DISPLAY/03404.xml.
(2) The archival and DAS versions of several studies have been updated:
1999, 2000, and 2001 NHSDA: corrected coding errors, added selected
variables -- see the errata sheets for details. Access all NHSDA / NSDUH
files at http://webapp.icpsr.umich.edu/cocoon/SAMHDA-SERIES/00064.xml.
NTIES: corrected variable labels; see
http://webapp.icpsr.umich.edu/cocoon/SAMHDA-DISPLAY/02884.xml.
2000 N-SSATS: Added county FIPS codes; see
http://webapp.icpsr.umich.edu/cocoon/SAMHDA-SERIES/00058.xml.
DC*MADS: Added question text for survey questions; see
http://webapp.icpsr.umich.edu/cocoon/SAMHDA-SERIES/00108.xml
For archival versions, corrections or updates made to studies can be found
in the study description under "version history". For the DAS, changes are
documented under the "change history" link.
(3) The URL's to some of our pages have changed. If you have internal
SAMHDA pages bookmarked, please take note. Pages with the following
structure: http://www.icpsr.umich.edu:8080/<specific page> have changed to
http://webapp.icpsr.umich.edu/cocoon/<specific page>. This update will
resolve firewall problems that some of our users have experienced. Our
homepage URL has not changed.
(4) We have added a new component to the "related literature" function for
series data. Now each study within a series (e.g., a given year of the
NHSDA / NSDUH) is linked to a series ID so that all citations within a
series may be viewed without opening the related literature links for each
study within the series. For an example, click on the "related literature"
link for the NSDUH:
http://webapp.icpsr.umich.edu/cocoon/SAMHDA-SERIES/00064.xml.
