[SAMHDA-Announcements]

Data from the April, 2002 extract of the 1999 Treatment Episode Data Set 
(TEDS) are now available on the online data analysis system (DAS) at: 
http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/cgi-bin/SDA12/hsda?samhda+teds99. The archival 
version of the file will be available within a few days. The 1996-1998 TEDS 
files from the April, 2002 extract will be available within the next few 
weeks.

New extracts are periodically taken from TEDS to reflect updates submitted 
by the States as they identify errors or omissions in their data. While 
this system improves the  data over  time, reported historical statistics 
may change slightly from year to year. The extract date is included in the 
summary section of the abstract for each file.
