New Releases:
** The 2000 National Household Survey on Drug Abuse (NHSDA) is now
available on FastTrack at:
http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/SAMHDA/fasttrack.html. Files on FastTrack have
not yet been fully processed.
** The Drug Services Research Study (DSRS) has been added to the archive.
Click on "Download Data" from our homepage to access the DSRS files
(http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/SAMHDA/).
Upcoming Releases:
** 2000 National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS,
formerly the Uniform Facility Data Set (UFDS)), to be release on the
archive and online data analysis system (DAS) and expected in September 2002.
** Fully processed 2000 NHSDA, to be released on the archive and DAS and
expected in September, 2002.
** Updated 1995-97 Treatment Episode Data Set (TEDS) files, which will be
from the April 2001 extract and include additional codes for race and
ethnicity, 100 percent of the records, and several created
variables. Created variables include number of substances reported,
intravenous drug use (IDU), flags for any mention of specific substances,
and state indicators for comparisons of one state vs. all others. These
files will be released on the archive and DAS and are expected in
September, 2002.
** 2001 Monitoring the Future files, to be released on the archive and
expected in October, 2002. The 12th grade core file will also be released
on the DAS, and this is expected in November, 2002.
