*** The 1999 National Household Survey on Drug Abuse (NHSDA) is now
available from FastTrack at:
http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/SAMHDA/fasttrack.html. Studies on FastTrack are
provided in "as is" condition in order to allow access to the files while
they undergo full processing. The 1999 NHSDA on FastTrack includes the data
as a SAS system file and the codebook in Word Perfect.
We anticipate releasing the fully processed NHSDA file in January through
the archive and the online analysis system. The full release will include
an updated version of the codebook that has a variable map to assist users
in determining associations between interview questions and different types
of variables (raw, edited, and recoded). The public use file does not
contain state identifiers.
*** The Health Behavior in School-aged Children (HBSC) study is now
available from our online analysis system:
http://www.icpsr.umich.edu/cgi-bin/SDA12/hsda?samhda+hbsc.
*** Literature citations for several of our studies have been completed and
