Karl Dinkelman raised a point today when asking when they would see the
ability to use structured text in QuestionText. He mentioned that often
they need to indicate an underline or bold in a response category.
Currently this is not possible as Label is an InternationalString. This
made sense when we piled the content of spss names etc into Label. Now
that we have broken all of these different aspects out, Label is now
treated as display Label. If we changed this to a structured string with
the added ability to indicate if structure was required for sense and the
prefered display we would be able to meet their needs fully. The question
is twofold:
First, does this hold true universally for "Label" or would we be
introducing garbage in some places.
Second, are we willing to expand the resolution of our Name, Label,
Description discussion to include this or does it need to wait for next
time.
Karl will get back to us with their assessment by tomorrow morning.
